Every season brings its own distinct energy. Can you sense it? Winter’s calm transitions into a burst of energy in Spring, evolving into constant movement and growth in Summer. The intense heat of Summer eventually deepens into Late Summer, when gardens overflow with fresh fruits and vegetables. As Fall approaches and the weather cools, Nature makes one final surge before turning its energy inward.
The Earth, along with everything on it—including humans—responds to the changing seasons and larger shifts in the Universe. We outwardly adjust our patterns and clothing, but the true changes occur within us, often without our awareness.
As one season flows into the next, Nature instinctively adapts. In Summer, various animals, including horses, humans, elephants, and jackrabbits, respond differently to the heat. Some sweat, others radiate heat from their ears, and many shed their fur. Seeking shade, cooling rocks, or water sources, animals like dogs and birds pant to cool down.
In dry desert environments, cold-blooded species such as reptiles, earthworms, and amphibians enter a deep sleep called estivation to conserve energy and water during the hottest days of Summer. Lakes dry up, food becomes scarce, yet animals like the West African Lungfish have adapted to survive. They burrow into mud, create a protective cocoon, and feed off their own muscle tissue until the rainy season arrives.
These animals don’t worry about the heat, sun, or dryness. They simply respond and adapt.
Nature possesses an innate intelligence, ensuring the survival of its species.
