Our society is filled with boundaries, both imposed and unspoken, that we must navigate daily. Within these constraints, we each carve out our own paths to freedom. Whether through creative expression or financial stability, we all seek the space to discover our personal freedoms.
What does freedom mean to you?
Is it liberation from worry, fear, or health challenges? Or perhaps it’s simply finding peace within yourself?
As we transition into Fall, our energy shifts from the Stomach and Spleen to the Lung and Large Intestine. The Stomach and Spleen work tirelessly to process our daily experiences, including emotions, but it’s crucial to allow ourselves the freedom to let go of burdens as we move into a new season.
Emotions can have a profound impact on our well-being, as Thich Nhat Hanh beautifully illustrates, “Anxiety is the illness of our age.” By releasing worry and stress, we create space for peace and calm within ourselves.
Finding freedom through release
By allowing our bodies to rest and transition smoothly into Fall, we can alleviate allergies, skin issues, and excess emotions. It’s essential to prioritize self-care and emotional well-being during this seasonal shift.
Take time each day for yourself. Acknowledge and accept your emotions, then release them. Replace negativity with love and peace, allowing your body to respond with gratitude.
