Often in life, we overlook the things that happen regularly. These events become so ingrained in our daily routine that we may not even notice them anymore, whether they are visible to us or not. For instance, the sun faithfully rises every morning and sets every evening, providing us with a sense of stability amidst changing circumstances. Similarly, the moon goes through eight phases each month, sometimes hidden behind clouds or in its “new moon” phase. Despite these changes, we trust that the moon is always there, completing its cycle.
There are many other constants in our lives that we can rely on. We know that winter is typically colder than summer, while spring and fall offer milder climates. Farmers use these seasonal patterns to plan their harvests. Your body also operates on a constant basis, striving for optimal health. Internally, your Qi flows through meridians, affecting your overall well-being. When Qi flows smoothly, you experience good health, but when it’s blocked, you may experience discomfort or illness. This invisible energy flow directly impacts our physical health.
Every sensation or experience we have originates on an invisible level. Physical symptoms are the body’s way of communicating that something is energetically imbalanced. What messages is your body trying to convey? What lies beneath the surface?
Discover how to see beyond the visible realm through the practice of Qigong.
