This Pomegranate Martini is infused with a Rosemary Simple Syrup, a refreshing and festive holiday cocktail made with vodka (or gin) and Pomegranate Juice!

There is a space in the heart where everything meets.
The Radiance Sutras
Here’s a little holiday cheer to brighten up these dark winter days – a Pomegranate Martini with Rosemary! Partnering with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, I created this festive holiday drink featuring their small-batch Vodka, along with a rosemary-infused simple syrup, pomegranate juice and citrus.
Refreshingly tart and subtly sweet with a hint of rosemary, it’s my kind of cocktail, and I’ve been enjoying them perhaps a little too much lately.

Pomegranate Martini Ingredients
- Alcohol: use your favorite vodka or gin, or try a non-alcoholic brand like SeedLip. I love the Grove and Garden flavor!
- Citrus: The first few times I made this, I used lemons and Meyer lemons- then I switched to limes, which, to me, made it more refreshing.
- Rosemary Simple Syrup: We love honey simple syrup with fresh rosemary, but feel free to use the traditional sugar water combination.
- Pomegranate Juice– if using sweetened pomegranate juice, you may need less simple syrup.
How to make a Pomegranate Martini
1. Make the rosemary-infused simple syrup. Just add honey (or sugar), water, and rosemary sprigs to a pot and heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Cool, letting the rosemary infuse into the syrup.

2. Mix and shake. Place the rosemary simple syrup, lime juice, pomegranate juice, and gin (or vodka) in a shaker half-filled with ice. Shake, shake, shake! Strain into a chilled martini glass.

3. Garnish. Pour it into a glass with a sugared rim if you like. Garnish with a rosemary sprig, lime wedge and pomegranate seeds.

Can this be made ahead?
Yes! The recipe can be multiplied, mixed without ice, and stored in a pitcher in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
Ways to serve this for a party
- Serve it in a punch bowl with a big hunk of ice and a splash of soda water (add to taste).
- Store it in a pitcher and mix two at a time in a cocktail shaker.
- Place it in a beverage container with a spigot for self-service. I would dilute it with sparkling water.
- Can this be made without alcohol?
