Reflecting on our previous discussion about Heart harmony, Grand Master Nan Lu prompted us to contemplate a deep love in our lives and embrace the physical sensations it brings—touching our body, mind, and Spirit. He delved into the body’s remarkable ability to remember love on a profound cellular level and how we can tap into these feelings during moments of sorrow. In this next segment, we delve into the profound power of love and how we can harness it for healing purposes.
Recall a memory from when you were 5 years old. Was it the taste of your first ice cream cone or the comforting touch of your grandmother’s hand on your shoulder? Perhaps it was the smile of your first Kindergarten friend. While fleeting, these memories likely evoke warmth and affection.
What other memories do you hold onto? Some, like those from early childhood, transport you to simpler, happier times and allow you to reminisce about people or places no longer present. On the other hand, some memories are painful and hinder us from living life to the fullest.
How do these long-ago memories persist within us? Everything in life is energy, including love. Whether seen or unseen, these memories become interwoven into the fabric of our being. Every cell in our body retains a memory of love at its purest form. Accessing this love enables us to connect with the Heart—the supreme organ.
Your Heart serves as a gateway to transcend the mind and align with your Spirit. Embrace love as a tool to unlock the depths of your Heart.
Love possesses the ability to heal a multitude of ailments, including physical pain. When faced with a migraine or arthritis discomfort, your initial reaction may be to reach for pain medication. Instead, close your eyes. Summon feelings of love and harness its healing power to transform your life. Direct this love towards your head to alleviate migraines or towards your joints to ease arthritis.
Love is boundless! Cultivate it like the ebb and flow of ocean waves. Utilize it to mend wounds, alleviate sorrow, relieve physical pain, and nurture a deeper connection with yourself. Replace painful memories with fond recollections of loving moments. Feel the sorrow and pain dissipate, replaced by a warm, loving smile.
Shift your focus away from negativity and prioritize self-care during the Summer season. Invite love and tranquility into your life, infusing love into every aspect of your being. Let love radiate outward like wildfire. Soon, you’ll sense barriers crumbling and your Heart flourishing.
Remember…
Before you can heal others, you must first heal yourself.
Prioritize self-love before extending love to others.
You can only offer what you possess.
The more love you harbor, the more you can give.
