Chris Hemsworth is known for his incredible fitness in Hollywood, thanks to his challenging yet rewarding workout routines.
Chris Hemsworth has always prioritized staying fit and strong throughout his acting career. In addition to his film projects, he has been actively promoting his workout app, Centr, which he launched in 2019 as mentioned in an interview with Bloomberg. His latest workout routine, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is quite intense.
Recently, on August 25, 2022, Hemsworth shared a challenging 50-rep full-body workout that includes burpees, squats, lunges, biceps curls, and shoulder presses. He demonstrated these exercises near a body of water, possibly on the deck of a Navy ship from his recent movie, Top Gun: Maverick.

Here’s a breakdown of Hemsworth’s 50-rep full-body workout:
Chris Hemsworth’s 50-Rep Full-Body Workout
Start with one pair of dumbbells and complete the sequence once, rest for 60 seconds, and repeat four more times for a total of five rounds.
- Dumbbell burpee curl and press— 10 reps
- Squat curl and press — 10 reps
- Alternating reverse lunge and curl — 10 reps
- Biceps curl — 10 reps
- Standing shoulder press — 10 reps
According to Hemsworth’s post, the workout gets easier as you move between exercises, but he emphasizes the importance of completing all 50 reps without resting. This suggests that the routine focuses on both strength and endurance.
Chris Pratt, Hemsworth’s co-star in Thor: Love and Thunder, also praised the workout in the comments section of Hemsworth’s Instagram post.
“Thanks for the inspiration!” Pratt commented. “Just did it. Great quick workout.”
Pratt mentioned using “big rocks” instead of dumbbells, showing his appreciation for Hemsworth’s fitness influence.

This full-body workout is just one of the many routines Hemsworth has shared from his Centr app.
Earlier in July 2022, he demonstrated an intense chest workout focused on volume in a short time frame. In mid-August, he highlighted a functional “minimal equipment” workout, possibly filmed in the same naval setting as his 50-rep routine. A glance at Hemsworth’s Instagram reveals his consistent dedication to sharing various workouts.
With the increasing promotion of Centr, Hemsworth is likely to have a more prominent presence in the fitness industry soon. His app aims to promote healthy habits in both exercise and nutrition, aligning with his goal of inspiring others to prioritize their well-being.
