Embarking on our health journey started with a simple calisthenics wall calendar – a project fueled by passion that set everything in motion. But it wasn’t just about a product. It was about shining a light on an underground sport, inspiring individuals, and cultivating a supportive community.
Shortly after, our inaugural signature shirt hit the market with the empowering slogan “Never Give Up – Only Pull Up!” Renowned athletes played a key role in the creation process, infusing their expertise and enthusiasm into the project, helping to spread the message far and wide.
To this day, this motto encapsulates the essence of what GORNATION represents: discipline, motivation, and community. It’s more than a mere print on our apparel – it’s ingrained in our DNA. A daily prompt to persevere and continually strive for improvement.

In 2017, a significant milestone was reached as GORNATION made its debut at FIBO in Cologne, Europe’s largest fitness expo. This event wasn’t just a trade show appearance; it was a pivotal moment that allowed us to connect directly with the calisthenics community.
Engaging with athletes, street workout enthusiasts, and potential partners face-to-face provided us with invaluable feedback and a surge of enthusiasm. The positive reception and excitement from attendees affirmed that we were on the right track – establishing a brand truly dedicated to supporting the sport.
In the subsequent years, we expanded our reach through more events, partnerships, and sponsorships. With each stride forward, GORNATION flourished – and so did our community. More individuals rallied behind our vision, propelling us forward every step of the way.

By 2019, the demand for our products had surged, leading to the expansion into a new office space. This transition marked a shift from a budding startup to a well-structured brand with a clear vision.
The growth wasn’t limited to our team and community; our warehouse also reached its capacity. Thus, in 2025, we undertook another expansion, equipped with a larger space, enhanced infrastructure, and increased automation. This upgrade enables us to ship orders swiftly, efficiently, and reliably – both locally and globally.

A point of pride for us is the team driving GORNATION forward. What began as a close-knit group around our founder Philipp has blossomed into a team of approximately 20 individuals – not merely working for the brand, but embodying the spirit of the sport and lifestyle. From e-commerce to product development, marketing to customer support – our team members are active practitioners of calisthenics, infusing their passion into every facet of the brand. Our shared objective is unequivocal: to advance the sport and empower the global community.
