The full moon serves as a powerful reminder of the Universal Qi’s intensity and our everlasting connection to the Universal. Harnessing this power and beauty not only enhances our own energy but also allows us to rejuvenate and revitalize. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to connect with the full moon once a month, providing us with 12—or sometimes 13 (as in 2026)—chances to tap into this connection. This month, the full moon will reach its peak on December 4 at 6:14 pm EST.
December’s Cold Moon marks the final full moon of 2025 and the last of three supermoons. As we approach the end of the year, a series of celestial events will help us close this chapter and welcome a new beginning. The Geminid meteors will be at their peak between late December 13 and early December 14. Just a week later, on December 21, we will celebrate the Winter solstice, marking the shortest day of the year and the official start of the Winter season. Keep your eyes on the sky for one more day to catch the Ursids, the last meteor shower of the year.
Full Moon Practice
Join us on Thursday, December 4 at 7:30PM for our virtual December Full Moon Practice as part of our regular Qi Thursday session. Take this opportunity to slow down and connect with the energy of the full moon. In honor of this potent lunar phase, we will be introducing a new posture tonight. This Qigong form will guide us through the winter season and nurture Kidney Qi.
